Meet the Creator – Jackie A.

Jackie A. is a self-published children’s book author, entrepreneur, and community educator committed to uplifting youth through creativity and financial literacy. She launched the How to Write a Book program at the Yonkers YWCA to provide children with access to publishing opportunities and real-world learning experiences.

Jackie created this program to show students that their creativity has value. By helping children write, publish, and sell their own books, she introduces them to entrepreneurship and financial literacy in a way that is empowering, accessible, and rooted in community growth.
